Dr. Ilias Bilionis is a professor, applied mathematician, and engineer specializing in scientific machine learning, uncertainty quantification, Bayesian modeling, and AI for complex physical systems. He is a professor at Purdue University, where he develops data-driven methods for engineering and scientific discovery.
Dr. Bilionis has authored three books on data science and scientific machine learning for engineers, and his research programs have secured over $100 million in competitive research funding from government and industry. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University.
Through Agentic AI Solutions LLC, he advises organizations on how to use agentic AI to accelerate product research and development and how to embed AI agents on engineered products.
